Dr. M. Padmaiah is a retired Principal Scientist from ICAR-IIOR with a PhD in Agricultural Extension. He has published 76 research articles, over 100 popular articles, and authored four books. He has also given more than 200 radio and television interviews and provided over 120 press briefings.

Dr. Padmaiah has received awards including the ICAR Jr. Research Fellowship and recognition for his work on ICAR Model Watershed. He has been honored as the Best Scientist by various organizations and received multiple felicitations.
